Pra quem não sabe, o Só Pedrada Musical lançou sua primeira mixtape oficial em comemoração aos cinco anos do blog em 2011. “Sound Library” vem encartada com as camisas comemorativas criadas pelos artistas cariocas João Lelo e Vagner Donasc e traz uma seleção pesadíssima de diversas sound libraries espalhadas pelo mundo. A pesquisa começou com a mixtape “O Groove da KPM”, postada em 2010 aqui, onde fiz um resumo dos melhores sons da KPM Music, principal e mais conhecida sound library. A partir daí, foi mais um ano pesquisando diversas fontes e juntando centenas de músicas até chegar no que vocês podem ouvir agora. Procurei misturar tracks que foram sampleadas por nomes como Ogi, J. Dilla, Jurassic 5, Jay-Z, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Madlib, MF DOOM, DJ Revolution entre outros, e faixas que (ainda) não foram sampleadas, mas que rendem ótimas idéias. Enfim, grooves obscuros, psicodélicos e improvisados entre o funk, jazz, fusion, rock e doideiras a parte gravadas nas décadas de 60, 70 e 80 por alguns dos melhores arranjadores e músicos dessas bibliotecas sonoras.
