Se você ainda não sabe, o novo album do The Roots se espalhou na rede durante o fim de semana de forma alastradora. “How I Got Over” é, sem dúvida, o melhor disco de rap do último ano. The Roots conseguiu novamente se superar, coisa que não acontecia desde 2004 com o album “The Tipping Point”. E, na minha opinião é o melhor disco da banda desde 99, com o clássico “Things Fall Apart”, pois possui uma identidade musical bem definida em todas as faixas. Sombrio e iluminado ao mesmo tempo. Pianos melancólicos, Questlove em levadas perfeitas, letras inteligentes, bons temas, ótimos refrões e muitos convidados presentes. Desde os amigos Dice Raw, P.O.R.N. e Truck North, passando por nomes como Phonte, John Legend, Blu e STS, até um povo mais de fora do hip-hop como o trio de cantoras do The Dirty Projectors, a harpista Joanna Newsom e a banda Mosters Of Folk. “How I Got Over” é um disco intocável!
